Holly Walker is an associate in our Las Vegas office, working in our labor and employment practice group. Her work focuses on representing employers in federal and state courts, in all stages of litigation, including breach of contract matters and disability discrimination actions. She also has experience handling employment discrimination and harassment litigation, wage and hour law, transactional law, and business immigration matters. Formerly serving a judicial clerkship at the Supreme Court of Nevada, her experience with the intricacies of the court system is extensive, as she was the first person in Nevada history to serve as a judicial law clerk for all three levels of the state judiciary.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Holly has been always been committed to her community, which she views as growing exponentially and evolving – yet also still embodying a small town feel, and she enjoys establishing long-lasting relationships with her clients. While still in high school, she was part of the Clark County Bar Association’s Trial By Peers program, which culminates with a “junior bar examination,” and this impactful experience led her to becoming an attorney. Holly graduated cum laude from UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law, where she was named a Fellow of the State Bar of Nevada’s Professional Development Program. During law school, she also was named to the Dean’s List and received seven CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grade in her class.
Away from the office, you’ll probably find Holly on a tennis court where she finds hitting the perfect backhand to be the ultimate stress reliever. A self-confessed science and engineering geek who knows how to code, she’s also adept at graphic design and loves designing websites.
