Cindy's practice covers all aspects of ERISA and the design, implementation and regulation of pension and 401(k) plans, executive compensation plans, welfare plans, and benefits issues in mergers, acquisitions and other commercial transactions. She has decades of experience in such specialty areas as ESOPs, multi-employer pension plans, non-qualified deferred compensation, controlled group issues, and the tax efficient disposition of significant employee benefits on death.
Cindy chairs the firm's ERISA and employee benefits practice and is regularly engaged in regional and national forums on employee benefits and tax issues. She most enjoys working day-to-day with clients on the issues challenging them, explaining options, foreseeing problems, providing alternatives, and crafting creative solutions. Before law school, Cindy wanted a career that would encourage her to be a life-long learner, which led her to pursue a career in law. Cindy particularly enjoys that the world of employee benefits is constantly changing and evolving.
Away from work, Cindy enjoys cooking with her family and adding to her collection of cookbooks either in Phoenix or at her home on Martha's Vineyard.
