He represents a wide variety of project owners and general contractors in the commercial, healthcare, industrial, residential development, and public construction markets.

Representative Transactions

  • Prepared and negotiated contracts for fast track design and construction of $100 million four story hospital surgery building project.
  • Represented construction contractor in negotiation of contract for construction of $25 million 14-story high rise residential project.
  • Prepared and negotiated a wide variety of design and construction contracts for a major health care provider, including, hospital contracts for a new hospice, and off-campus medical provider facilities.
  • Developed standardized set of design and construction contract templates for use of hospital's facilities department in connection with ongoing expansion and renovation projects.
  • Represented a municipality in the preparation and negotiation of a fast-track design/build contract for a new $80 million media and conference center.
  • Represented a municipality in the preparation and negotiation of construction and design contracts for a major league spring-training facility.
  • Assisted tribal gaming enterprise general counsel in the preparation and negotiation of a Construction Manager-at-Risk Contract for a new 170,000 square foot casino and 149 room hotel and banquet facility.
  • Represented a design/builder in the preparation and negotiation of a contract for the design and construction of a new casino and conference facility.
  • Assisted the Arizona Tourism and Sports Authority in connection with negotiation of a design/build contract for construction of the Arizona Cardinals NFL stadium, now the University of Phoenix Stadium.
  • Developed standardized set of design and construction contracts for use by major developer of numerous retail and mixed-use projects.
  • Prepared and negotiated construction manager at risk contract for construction of a major new resort hotel.
  • Assisted merchant power developer with contract for engineering, procurement and construction of a new electric generation facility plant.
  • Assisted numerous developers with developing and negotiating contracts for design and construction of office and retail complexes, warehouses, new industrial facilities, mixed-use projects, site infrastructure, residences and common elements of master planned communities, and condominium complexes.
