Scott has wide-ranging experience representing a diverse group of national and international clients in connection with complex commercial and products liability litigation. He also represents individual and commercial clients on a broad range of topics, including aviation issues, commercial leasing disputes, contract disputes, insurance coverage and bad faith matters, construction defect liability, premises liability, and asbestos exposure.
In addition, Scott has extensive experience as an advocate for manufacturers of a variety of products, including passenger and light truck tires, after-market alternators and starter motors, automotive batteries, plumbing and bathroom fixtures, glass and glazing products, boilers, pesticides, mining and other heavy equipment, and recreational vehicle components. A private pilot who has a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Scott was selected as a Graduate College Fellow to assist with the development of the University of Arizona's Heat Transfer Laboratory.
Scott has appeared in numerous state and federal trial and appellate courts as well as arbitration proceedings.
In 2011, the Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives appointed Scott as the first of five commissioners to the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission, where he serves as Vice-Chair.
