Elizabeth Delnegro is an associate in our business and finance practice group where her work focuses primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities, general corporate law and commercial real estate. She represents both buyers and sellers in numerous complex transactions, including asset and stock-based acquisitions and sales, mergers, and other business reorganizations. Liz also assists her clients in private placements, venture capital transactions, general corporate matters and commercial real estate transactions.
With a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Kansas, Liz utilizes her background in logical thinking and reasoning in the counsel she provides daily to her clients, especially in the tax and finance areas. By carefully examining a situation and performing impeccable research, combined with her high-energy, personable approach to cases, she’s able to find solutions to problems that on the outset looked like unsolvable puzzle pieces. She credits her previous experience in the human resources industry for allowing her to craft transactions that benefit both sides – negotiating terms that bring people together, despite their differences.
Outside of work, she is a member of the Sandra Day O’Conner Inn of Court, the Phoenix Zoo’s Wildest Club, and the Fennemore Craig Foundation, supporting numerous organizations to make a positive impact on the lives of those who live in our communities. Liz also enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, and their dog, a shih-tzu/bichon named Sir Dorian Gray; traveling and going to concerts; and checking out new restaurants in town.
