Bruce is the chair of the firm’s intellectual property practice group. He has a wide range of experience in all aspects of intellectual property law, including U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, patent infringement studies, design around efforts, and agreements relating to intellectual property.
Bruce has prosecuted patent applications in a wide range of technical fields, including materials science, optics, energy production, computers and software, general mechanics and thermodynamics. He also represents clients in a wide variety of industries, including the manufacturing, mining, and film coating industries.
Bruce began his career as an aerothermodynamicist for TRW. He stays connected to his science and technology roots by working with his clients and learning about their inventions and discoveries. Away from the office, Bruce is still creating. He enjoys building and fixing things, especially automobiles and has restored a 1965 Mustang. He also builds and flies model aircraft and is actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America.
