Joe is the chair of the firm's real estate practice group. He enjoys assisting both businesses and individuals on a variety of real estate projects. Joe works on acquisitions and dispositions of both commercial and high-end residential properties. He regularly negotiates and prepares restaurant, office, retail, industrial warehousing, agricultural and land leases for landlords, tenants and project developers. He also assists clients with real property issues in regards to receiverships, property management agreements, brokerage agreements, easements and licensing agreements. His experience includes representation of clients with the purchase of sites for resource exploration and mining, multi-use commercial development, waste disposal facilities, and energy projects.
Before law school, Joe worked as a Constituent Services Representative in U.S. Senator Jon Kyl’s southern Arizona office. He assisted citizens on matters ranging from Social Security issues, military and veterans’ issues and other social-service matters. After law school, Joe clerked for Judge Lankford at the Arizona Court of Appeals.
Outside of work, Joe is an actor and writer, and also serves on the Board of Valley Youth Theatre, inspiring the next generation of performers. He and his family also enjoy going to the theatre together.
