COURTNEY R. BELLER

We must take sides. Neuturality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.

-Elie Wiesel

Courtney R. Beller

Courtney Beller serves as vice-chair of our business litigation practice group. She is the youngest attorney to be selected to a leadership position within the firm.  Her responsibilities leading one of the firms largest practice areas include strategic planning, member management and ensuring high quality legal services by the practice group. Courtney represents Fortune 500 companies as well as some of Arizona’s most well-known businesses and entrepreneurs in high-stakes litigation. Throughout her career as a business litigator, she has experience in cases concerning multimillion-dollar disputes, including intellectual property disputes, vendor licensing, the misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract, disputes relating to fuel supply agreements, including those brought under the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act, and claims against state and local agencies in Arizona and Nevada. Courtney is also adept at real estate litigation, often handling disputes over development and cost sharing agreements as well as restrictive covenants.

Although she is at ease in a courtroom, Courtney also works hard to help her clients resolve problems before they ever necessitate going to court. She considers some of her biggest wins as those that quickly get her clients back to the business of running their company and allows them to avoid legal problems going forward.

Outside of work, she is passionate about serving on the Arizona Humane Society’s Board of Directors and as the co-chair of AHS’s 2020 Compassion with Fashion event. With a longtime interest in ensuring legal systems protect constituents, no one would be surprised if this driven business litigator serves in political office one day.
