Chelsie has always had a passion for understanding how laws and policies are created, applied and interpreted. Her work in several public sectors, including the Oregon Department of Justice, Oregon Supreme Court and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, has allowed her to dive in and thoroughly understand this realm. Prior to her career in law, Chelsie worked in upper administration at her alma matter, Nevada State College, and was selected to serve on the Subcommittee on Academics and Workforce Alignment, which was part of the Nevada Legislature’s Interim Study Concerning the Governance Structure of and Funding Methods for Community Colleges.
Chelsie volunteers for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada Children’s Attorney Project. Outside of the office, she enjoys attending events at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts, cooking with her family, and hiking the scenic southwest.
