Aunt Rita's Foundation

Aunt Rita’s Foundation raises and equally distributes money to Central Arizona programs that prevent HIV/AIDS or assist those living with HIV/AIDS. Aunt Rita’s Foundation will accomplish this through direct public education and signature fund-raising events.

American Heart Association

American Heart Association‘s mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

American Cancer Society

Together with millions of supporters, the American Cancer Society (ACS) saves lives and creates a world with less cancer and more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back.

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the ACS has 12 chartered Divisions, more than 900 local offices nationwide, and a presence in more than 5,100 communities.

Shoebox Ministry, Inc.

Shoebox Ministry, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit service corporation, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Shoebox was founded in 1988 with a specific goal of meeting the personal hygiene needs of the homeless and working poor. They are the only agency in the greater Phoenix area that focuses on meeting this very important need. While they are not a shelter, they do distribute toiletry kits through agencies and shelters that work directly with the homeless and working poor.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international non-profit organization dedicated to serving the poor and providing others with the opportunity to serve. The Phoenix Diocesan Council has been assisting central and northern Arizona families since 1946. Programs include services for the homeless, medical and dental care for the working poor, charity dining rooms, thrift stores, a transitional housing shelter and general assistance for individuals in need.

Hand On Greater Phoenix

HandsOn Greater Phoenix is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that empowers people to become engaged, take action and create positive change in their communities.

For the last 15 years, HandsOn Greater Phoenix volunteers have been mentoring children, revitalizing neighborhoods, providing meals to the homeless, supporting seniors, caring for animals and protecting our environment. Volunteer projects are held in conjunction with pre-screened community service organizations, neighborhood associations and under-resourced schools. Hand On Greater Phoenix  works directly with these agencies to design projects that both address critical community needs and can take place on evenings and weekends integrating busy individuals as volunteers. 

Phoenix Rescue Mission

The Phoenix Rescue Mission is a family of people who care about those who are less fortunate — and who roll up their sleeves and see to the work of serving these individuals.

They offer three meals daily, a 24-hour walk-in center, showers and clean clothing, 150 emergency shelter beds nightly, a 21-bed Residential Addiction Recovery Program, a Career Education Center, Chapel services, and referral information. They serve thousands of children and families at special events throughout the year, providing food, clothing and other items they otherwise would not receive.

St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance

St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, the world’s first food bank, is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that alleviates hunger by efficiently gathering and distributing food to sites that serve the hungry. Serving two-thirds of Arizona’s 15 counties, the organization is committed to volunteerism, building community relationships and improving the quality of life for Arizonans in need.

UMOM New Day Centers

UMOM New Day Centers’ mission is to provide homeless families and individuals with safe shelter, housing and supportive services to assist them in reaching their greatest potential.

Founded in 1964, UMOM is the largest homeless shelter for families in Arizona. UMOM New Day Centers keep families together, providing a continuum of care from emergency shelter to transitional housing and finally, permanent, affordable housing.  Families at UMOM have the opportunity to gain the skills, medical care, quality child care, and education they need to rebuild their lives and succeed when they leave.

The Tears Foundation

The TEARS Foundation is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to compassionately assist bereaved parents with the financial expenses they face in making final arrangements for their precious baby who has died. Many of the founders and volunteers at The TEARS Foundation have experienced the loss of their own baby, and want to reach out in this way to support newly bereaved parents in their time of devastating sorrow.

HELP of Southern Nevada

HELP of Southern Nevada was started by the Junior League of Las Vegas and was incorporated in 1970. It is a 501 (c) (3) organization that has grown exponentially since the inception, from an organization that served fewer than three hundred people a year, to one that will serve over 100,000 unduplicated people in a fiscal year.

HELP of Southern Nevada responds to the changing needs of our growing community. We strategically expand our programs and refine our service delivery systems to better serve the poor, the homeless and those in crisis who come to us as a place of last resort. We pride ourselves on being 100% local and 100% accountable and engaging other organizations through collaboration to achieve maximum impact with the services we provide and the clients we serve.

Toys for Tots

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. 

The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. 

The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.

Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada

Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is one of the largest nonprofit social service providers in the state, offering the most comprehensive range of human services since 1941. 

Catholic Charities includes 20 diverse programs designed to help people, from infants to seniors, regardless of race, religion, or creed.

Ability360

Ability360 (Formerly known as Arizona Bridge to Independent Living) advocates personal responsibility – by, and for, people with disabilities – as a means to independence.  To help consumers achieve self-sufficiency.

Christian Family Care

Founded in 1982, Christian Family Care Agency is a private nonprofit, 501(c)(3) social services agency that provides: adoption; foster care; pregnancy counseling; and child & Family counseling programs focused on meeting the needs of children and families in Arizona. CFC’s fundamental belief is that a nurturing family is vital to every child’s success. Hundreds of children that have come to CFC in crisis situations are now part of loving and caring families.

Three Square Food Bank

Three Square is a Feeding America affiliate, serving four counties in Southern Nevada: Clark, Nye, Lincoln and Esmeralda. Three Square and Feeding America estimate the number of food-insecure persons in our service area to be 305,000.

Aviva Children’s Services

Aviva has strived to fulfill its mission of providing services to improve the quality of life for children who are victims of neglect, abuse and poverty, and are in the care of the Department of Child Safety. We respond to the needs of foster children by supplying basic, everyday necessity items as well as resources to enhance their self-esteem and well-being. Additionally, we provide a nurturing space for families to reconnect and heal, and sponsor programs that promote family reunification.

Fresh Start Women's Foundation

Every woman deserves a bright, happy and safe future where she and her children can thrive. Fresh Start Women’s Foundation empowers women to transform their lives by building confidence, self-esteem and valuable life and career skills. It’s women helping women to create stronger communities and families.

About The Fennemore Foundation

At Fennemore, giving back to the communities where we live and serve is part of our DNA. Our attorneys and allied legal professionals donate their time, talent and treasure in numerous ways, including legal aid and pro bono services. The Fennemore Foundation supports a wide range of civic, cultural and charitable organizations for all team members and their families to make a positive impact on the lives of those who live within our geographic footprint from Colorado to California. Over the years, the Foundation has supported many nonprofits. Some of the dynamic activities have included: planting gardens; painting classrooms; numerous walks in support of worthy causes, helping at a variety of food banks; coordinating toy, purse , sock and school supply drives; and serving meals at homeless shelters.
