Prosecution was declined following a presentation of the company’s theory to an Assistant United States Attorney and representatives of the Air Force Inspector General’s Office.
- Internal investigation for a public company, resulting in an admission from an employee concerning perjury in an administrative proceeding.
- Representation of a corporate executive in an Internal Revenue Service investigation of alleged unreported income. Prosecution was declined after conference with local and regional IRS representatives.
- Representation of a New York Stock Exchange mining company in an investigation initiated by MSHA, the Department of Justice, and the State of Arizona, arising out of the death of four miners.
- Current representation of an executive in a major RCRA investigation.
